Welcome to the 8th Grade Science Website! For your final year at Mill Creek Middle School, you will be learning a lot that will prepare you for the challenges of high school. We start the year reviewing the Scientific Method, then learn about Rocks & Minerals. Second Quarter, we learn about Earth Processes: Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Erosion and Weathering. Third quarter, we will be exploring water: Rivers, Oceans and Weather. Fourth Quarter: Astronomy and Natural Resources! It will go by faster than you can imagine!
